CCC is erecting a 480’ long kiln. In addition to the kiln, CCC is erecting a Solios 8 compartment baghouse that includes a coal bin, recycle lime bin and hydrated lime bin, a burner building, a tubular stone feed conveyor system roughly 200’ long, two emergency feed conveyors, a cooler, coal mill and coal drag conveyors.

The kiln is 16’ diameter and was assembled from 17 sections, all of which must be sub arc welded. We performed pre-assembly of “can sections” in a lay-down / staging area and will transport sections weighing roughly 180,000 lbs. each to their final erection point.

Prior to this expansion, CCC Group also installed a "Pyro Line" in this facility.  The project consisted of a kiln, a cooler, a baghouse, stone bins and other ancillary equipment at a limestone processing facility.  The schedule on this project was closely monitored because of the production impacts brought on due to the winter weather in the early stages of the project.
