Scope of work included driving approximately 1,300 linear feet of AZ26 x 70’ steel sheet piles for coffer cell. Fabricated and installed W33” x 220lbs per foot whaler and strut system 8’ below water line. Coffer cell was required for installation of 650’ of 10’ Diameter HDPE piping system to allow recirculation canal to be closed for construction of new Unit 7 Cooling Tower. Work required two 230 ton cranes working simultaneously to minimize project duration.
