Our Safety Program and training has helped us maintain a nearly incident-free workplace for our employees and clients.Due to our experience in mining and crushing facilities, we have a number of MSHA certified electricians.

Electrical & Instrumentation Cement Plant

CCC Group was awarded the electrical and instrumentation installation for the modernization of a 3000st/day cement plant. Work included installing all power, control, instrumentation, and fiber optics distribution systems.

This included 612,000 feet wire and cable, 14,000 wire terminations, 80,000 ft rigid conduit, 15,000 ft cable tray, and 1500 instrument devices.

CCC installed all equipment such as high voltage transformers, medium voltage switchgear, motor control centers, liquid rheostats, lighting transformers with distribution panels, PLC cabinets and welding receptacles.

The scope also included the installation of a complete grounding and lightning protection system for the facility.

Electrical & Instrumentation High Octane Pilot Plant

Electrical distribution consisted of setting 5000 amp switchgear, 480 volt panels, 120 volt panels, emergency generator and 1200 amp disconnects for major equipment. In addition, we installed all lighting and pole lights including gate emergency lights. All feeder cables were fed from underground raceways and ranged from 1000KCMIL to 10 AWG.

The project entailed approximately 60,000 feet of cable to 17 electrical pads, approximately 20,000 feet of conduit and 800 instrument loops.

All grounding, lightning protection, and heat tracing were also installed.

Electrical & Instrumentation Wheel Plant

Complete electrical project management and field supervision, including procurement of all equipment for power infrastructure.

Installation included:

  • 115-13.8 KV, 20 MVA main substation
  • Five unit substations
  • 25 motor control centers
  • Miscellaneous electrical for a 375,000 sq. ft. building.
  • Electrical for client equipment which consisted of one billet saw, one preheat furnace, three presses at 3,000, 5,000 and 8,000 tons, heat treating and aging furnaces and all necessary machining equipment.
