1500 MW Combined Cycle Repowering Project As part of a major repowering project, CCC placed massive foundations and all underground electrical and piping.
Scope included:
All underground utilities and process piping (electrical duct banks, cooling water lines, natural gas lines, fire water lines, etc).
Concrete foundations for the CT’s, HRSG’s, transformers, intake structure, cooling tower and associated ancillary buildings. Also included placement of anchor bolts and embedded items (24,000 cubic yards of concrete placed in 8 months)
Above grade concrete for the transformer isolation structure
Electrical lighting and power installation in ancillary buildings
CCC Group went on to complete two other major projects for FP&L.
CCC Group was awarded the OSHA Star award on this project.
Florida Power & Light Indiantown, Florida Two GE 7FA Simple Cycle, Dual-Fuel Turbines Added 340MW's of Power
As part of a power expansion program, CCC Group placed large specialty foundations and all underground electrical and piping.
Scope included:
All underground utilities and proces piping (electrical duct banks, cooling water lines, fire lines, fuel oil and natural gas lines)
Concrete foundations for the CT's, exhaust stacks, transformersand associated ancillary buildings
Above grade concrete for the transformer isolation structure Balance of Plant including mechanical, electrical and instrumentation

CCC Group was awarded the VPP OSHA Star award on this project
Sheet Pile Project for New Cooling Tower Installation Florida
CCC Group was responsible for the construction of a coffer cell required for the installation of 650ft of 10ft diameter HDPE piping system. This would allow for a recirculation canal to be closed during the construction of a new cooling tower at the power plant.
Scope of work:
Drive 1,300 Lft of AZ26 x 20ft steel sheet piles
Fabricate & install W33"x220 lbs/foot whaler and strut system 8 feet below water line
Minimizing Project Duration This project required use of two 230 ton cranes working simultaneously to minimize project duration.
