Sheet Pile Project for New Cooling Tower Installation
Florida

CCC Group was responsible for the construction of a coffer cell required for the installation of 650ft of 10ft diameter HDPE piping system.  This would allow for a recirculation canal to be closed during the construction of a new cooling tower at the power plant.

Scope of work:

  • Drive 1,300 Lft of AZ26 x 20ft steel sheet piles
  • Fabricate & install W33"x220 lbs/foot whaler and strut system 8 feet below water line

Minimizing Project Duration
This project required use of two 230 ton cranes working simultaneously to minimize project duration.
