2570W Dragline Relocation

Project involved complete dismantle of 13 million pounds of dragline equipment in Alabama and the transportation of all loads of equipment to Mobile, Alabama for overseas shipment to Colombia, South America. Once the equipment arrived in Colombia, the project involved rebuilding and erecting the complete 2570W in Drummond’s mine in Northeast Colombia, in the Cesar department.

Scope included a complete control system upgrade as well as structural modifications and improvements. Also included extensive boom modifications and complete remachining of all machine surfaces on the dragline. CCC Group provided management, on-site supervision and technical expertise for the project.

CCC was responsible for managing over 250,000 labor hours.
